PAUL CLARK PARTY BAND: MEMBERS BIOS AND MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Paul Clark:Leader and one of several vocalist with the group.Long-time player in the Columbus music scene always maintaining a crowd-pleasing
band at all the top spots of the past and still active in todays market,clubs,festivals,weddings and etc.played drums for many years and have
performed not only with the POSSUMS 1965-66 winning the battle of the bands at Valley Dale from The Jerry Rasor Dance Party on TV4,but
with Spanky,Daily News,Chuck Dailey Band and numerous others as well as along side of some of the best top/local performers there are.
Performed with many national recording artists such as,Drifters,Coasters,Marvellettes,Del Shannon,Foghat and numerous others.
Mike Shoaf: Long-time Bass Player/vocalist and all around pro in the Music scene.Has performed with many local top artists and National acts.He
has a tremendous stage presence and co-ordinates any musical style,fitting to any event.Not only teaches bass guitar and performs with other
top artists in the Columbus market.
Rob Harris:Lead guitarist/vocals:A truly talented musician whose all-around professionalism creates the opportunity to move to another level.
His knowledge of music and technology mixed with his over-all stage presence makes it very rewarding.He has played with Nightwatch,Mighty
Quinn,Little Sister,Mix and others.He to has enriched the band.
Don Groner:Keyboardist:He has performed for many years in the music scene and like-wise with many top groups/players,such as Jeff Pharion,
Finishing Touch,PCB,Mighty Quinn,Push and many others projects,He's a crowd favorite as his musical flair creates stage excitement,he is an
extremely talented and versatile player and its been my pleasure to have performed with him all these years in this band.
Shane Sheaf: an extremely accomplished drummer whose vast experience and tremendous vocal range provides a solid and dependable depth to
the group.He has performed with many top groups and successfully fronted his own projects during his career and is in-deed,a professional and
polished asset to the group.
Howard Everitt:Trumpet.Began in Canton Oh 1954 and grew up in Columbus,played in North High School Band soon joining Jim Luellen's
Novelaires,which appeared on Ted Macks Amatuer Hour.Schooled at OSU Music,played in The Marching/Concert Band and Brass Choir.Also
played with Joe Lavinger's Tunetimers,his own groups,ARCEDS and Pan Americans,during the early bistro days.Played in debut of Sounds of Ed
Montgomery at Carnegie Hall.Worked with Eddies Pollina,Jack Gorham Quartet and Paul Clark Band.A talented musician and professional,a
true asset to this group.
John Carson:Saxaphonist/flute:An absolute quality musician whose abilities are virtually unlimited when he plays the multi-levels of saxes.He
adds the needed melodics on those special song-styles and compliments the brass/keyboards.He has performed with several top bands over the
years,such as,Eddie Pollina,PCB,Jim Lynch and various Jazz Groups to include one of his own projects,Inside-Out.His dedication to the love
of music along with his tremendous talent creates a complete blend to the band.
THE PAUL CLARK PARTY BAND will feature several special guests whom will perform on special ocassions creating a complete "ALL-STAR"
line up,capable of providing that special event with "A LITTLE EXTRA TOUCH"
